Congratulations to the Harrison Raiders, who won their 1st state championship in boys soccer on October 28. The #1 rated Raiders knocked off the Castle Knights on a chilly October evening in Indianapolis by a 3-2 score. Raider athletics can add another state championship trophy to a collection that already includes state titles in girls track;1974, boys football;1993, and boys baseball;1995. Harrison’s title adds to an already impressive NCC state title total, now at 116. The NCC has now won at least one state championship in every boys sport offered by the IHSAA. Interestingly, the Raider soccer championship is the first in that sport for the North Central Conference. Anderson leads all member schools with a total of 26 state championships. Once again, all hail to the Harrison Raider boys soccer team! Congrats once again!
