Kokomo’s Wildkats; 2017 IHSAA 5A Football Runners-Up!

Kokomo’s Wildkats advanced to the IHSAA 5A football championship on Friday, November 24th, losing to the Columbus East Olympians by a score of 42-28. Kokomo’s appearance in the championship game was their first ever, and was also the first appearance by the NCC in the championship since Marion’s Giants made it to the 1990 game. The Wildkats had previously defeated Harrison, McCutcheon, Zionsville, and Michigan City in the tournament to reach the title game. Congrats to our Wildkats; 2017 Indiana 5A runners-up!
